KIA Motors has launched its first car from Ananthapur unit and regarding this, it invited Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as the chief guest.
But as the young CM skipped the event due to his commitments in Delhi, he sent a few of the YSRCP leaders like Hindupuram MP Gorantla Madhav, Nagari MLA Roja etc to the ceremony. But unhappy over the way, the people of Kia received Gorantla, the MP was found warning the KIA managers.
TDP leaders who are leaving no stone unturned to target the ruling party leaders, went against this issue too. TDP leader Nara Lokesh tweeted about it saying, “It is not fair on the party of YSRCP MP to go against KIA. If this is the treatment the state government is giving to an international company, then the situations of the local investors could be worse.”
“If is it possible, YSRCP should bring new companies, but cannot threaten the existing companies like KIA. If you continue doing it, then they will reach out to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and worsen the situation. What is the reason behind threatening KIA people, when you claimed that the company has been set up with the support of your father YSR,” Lokesh questioned Jagan on Twitter.
He also tweeted some satirical comments on KIA for not inviting his father Naidu, whom he considers as the sole reason for the establishment of its unit in AP.
However, TDP fans still managed to trouble KIA and also Jagan, by trending #ThankYouCBNforKia hashtag on the nationwide. In fact, anticipating such uproar from Telugu Desam activists, Jagan might have skipped attending the launching ceremony of Kia’s first car.
