One of the key leaders of TDP, is all set to join BJP soon, that too before the announcement of the election results in Andhra Pradesh.
Though the said leader had tried to jump into BJP earlier, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu requested him to stay back for the party’s prospects, but as TDP has almost zero chances to retain the government in Andhra Pradesh this time, and adding to it, if at all BJP forms the government again at the Centre, the leader is anticipating some severe issues against him, as he is already facing financial fraud allegations. Unwilling to be the prey to such issues, the concerned leader is planning to join the national party, even before the results announcement.
Reportedly, the said leader has already got confirmation about his berth in BJP from key people of the party who are close to him. The leader is leaving TDP, only with the intention of being on the safe side and to not get cornered by BJP, but not due to the differences with any of the TDP leaders including Chandrababu Naidu.
The concerned leader expressed his support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi several times in the past, in the issues like special status, demonetization etc. So he is expecting that his political career will be on the right track with BJP.
