It is no secret that Telangana Chief Minister KCR has not been very active for many months now. His son, and the TRS’s working President, Minister KTR is currently taking over many duties of KCR, in the absence of teh CM.
Speaking to the media recently, Health Minister Etala Rajendar Reddy hinted at KTR becoming the Chief Minister of the state very soon, and questioned what was wrong in KTR becoming the CM of the state, given that he’s already managing many of KCR’s activities. Etala also said that there might be many reasons for KTR becoming the CM, and that the reasons were not important.
Etala also said that it is perfectly fine for KTR to become the CM, and even pointed out that it was KTR that launched the vaccination program in the state, to which he attended too, being the Health Minister of the state.
Commenting on these statements, BJP Leader Vijayasanthi said that KCR was probably contemplating retiring from politics altogether, as soon as possible. She even criticised how negligent KCR was towards the state, as he did not even give a speech or reassure the people of the state to be safe and to not worry, with the vaccine being ready.
For a few months now, there have been rumors of KTR becoming the CM, with many party members hinting at it quite strongly. It is now to be seen when this will take place, and what KCR will choose to do then.
