The sudden visit of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to Hyderabad and his closed door meeting with Telangana Chief Minister KCR has led to several anticipations among the political circles.
As Jagan is all set to go out of the country on his personal visit to Jerusalem, he reportedly discussed about the tactics, the BJP is allegedly trying to implement on YSRCP leaders, in his absence.
As BJP had to face a massive defeat in AP, it is eager to pick up in the state by the time of the next elections, for which it is inviting the leaders of all the parties. As a few of the TDP leaders already joined in BJP and many more are yet to join, the Lotus Party is betting big on AP. So, in the recent meet, KCR suggested Jagan to allow the other party leaders into YSRCP, so that the BJP will not be able to make it big in the state.
Telangana Congress was the main opposition party and was able to get reasonable seats in every election of Telangana. But the TS CM was able to reduce its impact, by conducting “Operation Aakarsh”, through which most of the Congress leaders joined into TRS. KCR asked Jagan to do the same and offer open invitations to any party leaders.

It is obvious that no AP leader will choose BJP over YSRCP, for the kind of massive mandate the ruling party got in the recent elections. Most of the TDP eladers are considering to join BJP, only because YSRCP had closed its gates for the other party leaders, and announced that they will be allowed only if they resign to their respective posts.
So it should be seen, whether Jagan takes KCR’s suggestion and considers Operation Aakarsh, if not to strengthen his party, but to at least to protect it from BJP.
