With the only intention of concentrating on federal front, Telangana Chief Minister KCR has concluded the Telangana General Elections in December itself.
KCR heavily raised his voice against Congress and BJP and said that there’s a necessity for a federal front at the Centre. For this, the dynamic CM also met the regional party leaders of other states and sought their support. But not many parties were willing to take a decision on federal front and are in favor of Congress. Even Stalin asked KCR to support Congress, when the latter met former recently in Tamil Nadu.
Adding to it, in the internal survey, KCR conducted, the chances of victory for Modi-led BJP were found to be weak. This made the Telangana CM now concentrate on Congress. Reportedly, he is now planning to woo the Congress leaders and occupy, at least a deputy Prime Minister’s chair.
One of the TRS leaders, who requested anonymity, said that his party is strictly against Narendra Modi. “If required, we might even support Congress, only with the intention of defeating Modi at the Centre,” he said.
