It is no secret that Telangana Chief Minister KCR has had nothing but negative things to say about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party for the last several months. The TRS and CM KCR went to such an extent that they tried to insult the PM and the BJP during the BJP’s national level meeting recently held in Hyderabad. Now, the Telangana Chief Minister has decided to politicize the celebrations of the upcoming 75ht Independence day.
Prime Minsiter Modi has called for the celebrations of the 75ht independence as “Azad Ka Amruth Mahotsav”. Irrespective of whether or not the ruling party of a state is allied with the BJP, almost every state in India decided to go ahead with the PM’s request and is celebrating Independence day accordingly. However, the TRS and CM KCR has decided that they will go ahead with their own plan. A new term has been coined by the TRS government for the celebration of INdependence day in the state.
Moreover, the TRS government decided to come up with its own logo for independence day, to put as the display pictures on everyone’s social media, as opposed to the idea presented by PM Modi, who requested everyone to put up the Indian flag as their display pictures until the end of the month. Looks like KCR is not going to back down in any manner on the BJP, no matter how childish it may seem to be.
