Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) experienced abdominal discomfort and underwent medical tests at AIG Hospitals in Gachibowli.
Dr Nageshwar Reddy, the chairman and chief of gastroenterology, personally examined KCR and ordered a CT scan and endoscopy test.
The hospital later issued a statement saying that KCR had a small ulcer that is being managed medically. The chief minister’s other parameters were normal, and he has started taking appropriate medication.
KCR was accompanied by his wife Shobha and daughter Kavitha during his visit to the hospital.
