Telangana Chief Minister KCR has been waging a verbal war against the BJP for the past few months, especially after the BJP started gaining prominence in the state, with the win in Dubbaka by-polls and a decent victory in the GHMC elections. Prior to this, KCR has always publicly spoken against the Congress party several times.
In recent times, perhaps due to his association with Prashant Kishor, KCR softened his stance towards Congress but has continued to speak harshly against the BJP. He even very publicly tried to form a third front, against the BJP and Congress, but that didn’t work out, with Mamta Banerjee gaining on that front. At the recent TRS formation day event, when KCR spoke, everyone expected the leader to once again speak against the BJP or Congress, but nothing of that sort happened.
As a result, it is being said that KCR has decided to stay neutral for now. What the reasons are, and what made him opt for this route are as of now a conundrum, but sources say that KCR continues to pursue his dreams of becoming a national leader. He is said to be discussing the same with PK, and depending on the outcome and how others react, he is said to take his next steps.
