It is known that the makers of Nikhil Siddharth’s Karthikeya 2 had announced that the much-awaited film will hit the screens on July 22, 2022.
However, the Chandoo Mondeti directorial will not be released on the above-mentioned date and it will hit the theatres in the first week of August. The same was confirmed by Nikhil on Twitter.
In response to one of the users, the actor wrote, “But sorry.. the movie is not releasing on July 22nd.. but In August 1st week. Apologies to the Amazing ppl who booked tickets for the premiere show.. will get it refunded.”
Karthikeya 2 stars Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead opposite Nikhil. Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has been roped in to play a key role while Aditya Menon, Srinivasa Reddy, Harsha Chemudu and others will be seen in supporting roles. The movie is bankrolled by People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts. It has music composed by Kaala Bhairava.
