The Karnataka elections saga has come to a close now with the election results getting announced on the 13th of May. The Congress party won the election by a comfortable margin by winning 136 seats of the total 223.
Now that Congress has won the polls, there is a lot of anticipation on who will be the next chief minister of the state with multiple aspirants for the same.
While a few say that Karnataka Congress dynamic leader DK Sivakumar should be the chief minister, a few others say veteran Siddharamaiah who previously served as Congress CM should get the post again.
There’s also an argument that the senior pro Mallikarjuna Kharge should be the CM, given his seniority.
For now, the Congress is keeping mum on the CM post. An official announcement will be made on the 15th of May and that will put an end to these speculations.
