The government of Karnataka has announced that a complete lockdown will be imposed in the state from May 10th to 24th.
The lockdown will be coming to effect from 6 AM on 10th May and it will be in place till 24th May. Public movement shall be prohibited between the above-mentioned dates.
The chief minister’s office stated that the existing curfew is not yielding positive results and the state government resorted to a complete lockdown.
The government of Kerala has also announced a complete lockdown starting from tomorrow. Andhra Pradesh is observing day curfew.
Meanwhile, the chief minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao made it clear there will be no lockdown in the state as Covid situation is very much under control.
