Over the last few days after Sushanth Singh’s suicide, there has been a flurry of comments in Bollywood that Nepotism is infiltrating the B town. Especially filmmakers like Karan Johar, Mahesh Bhatt and other nepo kids were on the receiving end.
Kangana Ranaut, on the other hand, had played a key role in bringing forward the flag bearers of favouritism unabashedly.
Dharma productions owner Karan Johar was badly trolled by the netizens for supporting nepotism. He went off the radar to avoid any backlash from the public after SSR’s suicide.
Karan also was recently upbraided by IAS army people who filed a petition for portraying the ‘Gunjan Saxena’ biopic in poor light.
It is reported that Karan had approached Prabhas to star in his upcoming venture in Bollywood after Saaho. Prabhas initially agreed for it after narrating the basic premise of the film.
Meanwhile, the actor got occupied with many projects on his plate. He soon okayed Radhe Shyam, Nag Ashwin project and even Adipurush lately. With this, negotiations with Prabhas had looked futile for Karan Johar.
Reportedly, he is said to be very upset with Prabhas for not giving any clarity about his project after giving the green signal to the story of Adi Purush by Om Rawat.
Buzz is that Prabhas chose to avoid working with the producer to not get embroiled in the nepotism controversy involved with him.
