The upcoming Sandalwood prequel “Kantara: Chapter 1,” helmed by director and writer Rishab Shetty, made a grand debut in Kundapura, Karnataka. Marking the launch were the unveiling of the first look poster and a captivating teaser.
Set against the backdrop of the Kadambas’ era between 345 CE and 500 CE, the teaser hints at a legendary narrative. With an enticing score by Ajaneesh Loknath, the teaser showcases Rishab Shetty in a powerful avatar, sporting long hair, a beard, and wielding a trident and sword.
The visuals promise an intriguing storyline with striking imagery, featuring blood-stained figures and glowing eyes.Apart from Rishab Shetty, actors like Saptami Gowda, Kishore, and others will play significant roles.
Produced under Hombale Films, known for high-budget productions, the film is set for release in seven Indian languages. Ajaneesh Loknath will handle the music composition, adding to the movie’s anticipation and allure.
