The highly anticipated pan-India movie Kanguva, expected to boost Kollywood to the level of Baahubali, has faced several delays. The release date is now set for November 14, and fans are hoping there won’t be further postponements.
Despite the hype, the movie faces competition from Varun Tej’s Matka, leading some to question if Kanguva is being underestimated.
Suriya plays a dual role in Kanguva, with reports suggesting a connection to his earlier film 24. Although the stories are different, there’s a similarity in the concept, where an ancient warrior meets a modern spy skilled in advanced technology. Director Siruthai Siva has incorporated time travel elements in a unique way.
With music by Devi Sri Prasad, Kanguva stars Disha Patani as the heroine and Bobby Deol as the villain. Although delayed, Suriya’s fans eagerly await this movie, with the possibility of a sequel planned for 2026.
