Once a Bollywood superstar, Kangana Ranaut ruled the box office with hits like Queen and Tanu Weds Manu. She was the first female actor to deliver a 100 crore success with Queen and received several National Awards.
However, in the past decade, her career has faced a steep decline, with back to back flops tarnishing her star power.
After the success of Tanu Weds Manu Returns in 2015, Kangana appeared in 11 films, all of which failed at the box office. Her recent release, Emergency, where she portrayed Indira Gandhi, was made with a 60 crore budget but earned only 15 crore. Despite her strong performance, poor promotions and low audience interest led to its failure.
Big budget projects like Dhaakad, Thalaivi, and Tejas also underperformed, collectively grossing under 20 crore. Fans are now eager to see if Kangana can make a comeback and reclaim her former glory.
