Universal hero Kamal Haasan and veteran star filmmaker Mani Ratnam have joined hands for the second time after scoring a blockbuster with
‘Nayakan’ (Nayakudu in Telugu) in 1987.
And 35 years later, the duo announced that they are collaborating for a movie, which will be produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R Mahendran and Siva Ananth under their banners Raaj Kamal Films International and Madras Talkies.
“Here we go again! #KH234 The next phase of the journey,” the star actor tweeted announcing their new film.
The movie will be presented by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies. It will have music composed by AR Rahman. It is expected to hit screens in 2024.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is currently working on long-delayed film ‘Indian 2’, which is directed by Shankar.
