Apparently, Kalyan Ram pocketed a substantial amount of money which is understandable given that the film was sold for a fairly big price in the Telugu states and also overseas.
Kalyan Ram had been reeling under losses for his own films and has been in a spot of bother of late. So this success through Devara comes at a much needed time for him and he simply couldn’t have asked for more at this point in time.
Devara is a profitable film for most people involved and it is mainly returning revenues in the C and D centers which are NTR’s strong zone.
