The Telugu Desam Party politburo member, Kalva Srinivasulu, said that Rayalaseema has been suffering from the worst-ever crisis for the past three and half years. He said that there has been zero development in the area ever since YS Jagan Mohan Reddy became the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Srinivasulu said that former CM Chandra Babu Naidu strived really hard for the development and global recognition of Rayalaseema. This resulted in the internationally renowned Kia industry to set up its unit in the Ananthapur district, along with other companies like Hero Motors and Celkon establishing their units in the Chittoor district.
Srinivasulu went on to say that there has only been backward development in Rayalaseema ever since Jagan became the CM, which is also the case with the rest of the state. He said that development was possible in Andhra Pradesh with only the TDP in power.
