Prabhas starrer “Kalki 2898 AD” is currently in production and has created a buzz in the Indian film industry after the tremendous success of its teaser. The dystopian thriller, directed by Nag Ashwin, will be released in two parts, with the first installment scheduled to hit screens on May 9, 2024, as per insider reports.
For producer Ashwini Dutt, May 9 holds special significance, as it marks the release anniversary of some of his biggest hits like “Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari” and “Mahanati.” Hence, he aims to unveil “Kalki” on the same date next year.
The film is set in the year 2898 AD and revolves around Prabhas as the protagonist, saving people held captive by the malevolent force portrayed by Kamal Haasan.
Amitabh Bachchan also plays a significant role in this highly anticipated project, which boasts music by Santosh Narayanan. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release date announcement for this captivating cinematic endeavor.
