A milestone film like 25th, for a star hero, especially in Tollywood, means a lot to their fans. They expect the movie to do exceptionally well at the box office and break all the existing records.
While Jr NTR came up with Nannaku Prematho as his 25th milestone film in the past, Pawan Kalyan completed it with Agnyaathavaasi last year. Mahesh Babu could do it now, with Maharshi.
Even though Agnyaathavaasi was opened to record breaking collections on the day 1, all such hungama was shockingly dropped right from the second day itself and the film finally ended up as a disaster at the box office.
Coming to Maharshi, the movie has started with a mixed talk in many areas and is expected to do better in the coming days. But it was Nannaku Prematho which satisfied Nandamuri fans and that could be the reason, for the film to get a unanimous positive talk all over.
Though the film was not a blockbuster, the concept and Sukumar’s taking were appreciated by many. Above all, NTR’s stylish look in the film, and his emotional performance was considered as the major highlights of Nannaku Prematho, which led the film on a success track.
Thus, it can be said that Jr NTR won over Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu, by scoring a unanimous hit with his milestone film.
