Billionaire Jeff Bezos on Tuesday announced that he is shelling out a huge amount of his own cash to two men: the CNN contributor Van Jones and celebrity chef Jose Andres. Both of them are now getting $100 million to direct to the charities of their choice.

A huge award was announced after returning to Earth. Announced the $100 million (Rs. 7,46,09,40,000) award for Courage and Citizenship. The award is given to leaders who mobilize the people to face the challenges facing the human race.
Jeff Bezos spoke to the media after the success of the space mission. “The award-winning Van Jones and Jose Andres can use the proceeds for any non-profit event to distribute to more people,” he said. Many will be awarded this award in the future.
The inaugural awardees were chef Jose Andres—whose charity, World Central Kitchen, helps feed numbers of people following natural disasters—and Van Jones, who has founded several nonprofits but is best known as a CNN political commentator.
