TDP member JC Prabhakar Reddy has several times portrayed the YSRCP as the bad guys, and even projected himself to be the victim of the ruling party’s tyranny. Keeping this in mind, it is quite shocking to hear Prabhakar Reddy speak nicely of the YSRCP and of Jagan.
Prabhakar Reddy has recently been elected as the Chairman of the Tadipatri Municipality. Speaking to the media on the occasion, Prabhakar Reddy said that it is because of Jagan that he won the elections since Jagan does not allow anyone to YSRCP until they have resigned from their previous parties.
Prabhakar Reddy also said that Jagan is a man of high values and that he would have definitely lost if not for Jagan’s support. Prabhakar Reddy said that he would work in coordination with MLA Pedda Reddy and MP Rangiah, and clarified that he has no property issues with Pedda Reddy’s family.
This is the first time that someone has praised their enemy/opponent, and given that it’s coming from someone like JC Prabhakar Reddy, has made it all the more shocking. Whether it is genuine praise or not is something that will be known only down the road from here. But for now, whatever Prabhakar Reddy has said most certainly sounds highly genuine.
