It is widely known that the Jana Sena has partnered with the BJP and is waging a war against the YSRCP government’s rule in Andhra Pradesh. The AP BJP and the Jana Sena even contested together in the Tirupati by-elections, and the Jana Sena considers the YSRCP to be its arch-rival.
At a time like that, BJP’s Union Minister Kishan Reddy calling on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his Jana Ashirwad Yatra and talking to him is upsetting the Jana Sena. Members of the Jana Sena are feeling betrayed by Kishan Reddy’s actions, as the Jana Sena wasn’t even consulted with when making the decision to meet with Jagan. Given that Jana Sena is opposing the YSRCP, it is usually protocol to consult with Jana Sena first and then make a decision. Moreover, the Jana Ashwirad Yatra is essentially something to take the BJP’s schemes more into the public and increase its popularity.
As a result, members of the Jana Sena are said to be deeply upset, and also given that the Jana Sena is often kept out of the loop, it is being said that the Jana Sena members are considering writing a letter to the high command on the issue, and are also said to be ready to break their partnership if things don’t get sorted.
