Rudrangi is a period movie with Jagapathi Babu, Mamta Mohandas, Vimala Raman, Ashish Gandhi and others playing important roles. It is set up in the background of post independence era where higher section people take advantage of poor people and exploit them.
The movie has gone through censor board and had multiple mutes suggested due its extensive usage of foul and objectionable language. These days, these kind of foul language has become quite common in web series where there is no censor board. But the censor board doesn’t allow this to happen for movies to be released in theatres and hence suggested changes in the movie.
The movie is said to have foul words in many parts. The board hence suggested mutes everywhere and also asked to make the subtitles invisible at those places. Along with these, a violent scene is said to be cut by 50 percent.
The movie is slated for release this weekend, July 7 and team will make the suggested changes before it hit the theatres.
