Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is a staunch Christian, and it has been proven on more than one occasion. The rate at which conversions are taking place in the state of Andhra Pradesh is a huge proof of this fact. With that being said, no one in the state of AP seems to be paying attention to the yagam that is being performed in Vijayawada, at the cost of Rs. 10 Crores, all of which is said to be the money from various temples in the state.
It is being advertised that the yagam is being performed for the good of the people of the state, but the common talk is that it is being performed so that Jagan can become the Chief Minister of the state once again. With Jagan being a Christian, the people of AP don’t seem to be buying into the yagam, as a result of which no one is attending it. A lot of buses have been arranged for the people to attend the yagam, but no one is turning up.
Telangana Chief Minister KCR is known to perform a lot of yagams, for which people fly in from everywhere, as they believe in the CM’s belief of yagams. With the brewing anti incumbency feelings and the fact that Jagan is a Christian, it seems that the people of AP have labelled the yagam as a publicity stunt by the CM, due to which no one is turning up.
