Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is surely keeping everyone on their toes, as no one has any idea of what’s going on inside the CM’s brain. No one is said to have any idea of whom Jagan intends to retain, and who all will be out of the cabinet. Given that the new cabinet would be announced, and come into effect from this Ugadi, the tension is only building up.
Initially, it was expected that Jagan might retain big names like Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Balineni Srinivas Reddy, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, Kurasala Kanna Babu etc. However, the latest reports suggest that this might not be the case and that the CM is planning to retain only two members from the current cabinet, which includes Chelluboyina Srinivasa Venugopala Krishna from Ramachandrapuram and P Jayaram alias Gummanur Jayaram from Aluru in Kurnool district, simply because the CM is not said to be finding any better candidates in their place.
As a result, many feathers are expected to be ruffled in the days to come, within the party, which may or may not end well for the YSRCP, which is already suffering due to a lot of internal conflicts. It is now to be seen what the repercussions of the reshuffled cabinet would be, in the days to come.
