During the AP capital shift turmoil, Jagan showed grave aggression to establish three capitals to Andhra Pradesh. However Chandra Babu used all his experience to halt the process in the legislative council even though the bill was passed in the assembly.
Jagan immediately passed another bill in assembly to abolish the legislative council which hasn’t taken place in the last two decades.
As the abolition of the legislative council requires approval from the parliament, Jagan tried to pacify the BJP leaders at the center. As per YSRCP leaders’ claims, everyone thought that the center is also in the favour of Jagan and the council abolition will take place in no time.
In this crucial phase, Pawan Kalyan formed an alliance with the AP BJP that brings shutters close for Jagan at the final step for AP capital shift. It is being said that Pawan Kalyan and senior AP BJP leaders wanted the center not to approve Jagan’s proposal. Now, just before the elections, the news is out that it takes a year and half for the abolition of the legislative council.
In meanwhile, being aware of the situation Jagan started to lure many TDP MLCs into his party so that he can attain the required majority in the council as well.
This process takes time once CBN gets into the act exposing Jagan’s unethical behaviour. After a year and a half Jagan can form his own council as the current term of the present MLCs will expire. So Jagan has nothing to do but wait to fulfill his three capital dream.
