We all know about the tough time Jagan is facing at the moment from the High Court. Jagan has received 4 back to back blows from the court for his controversial decisions. Now, Jagan has become very adamant and is very desperate to gain the upper hand. Hence, his government decided to challenge a couple of verdicts in supreme court that are given by the high court.
If we discuss in a practical way, there is no way that Jagan could convince the supreme court on his controversial decisions. Speaking of which, the high court ordered the CBI to handle the case of Dr. Sudhakar’s arrest passing a strong statement that they don’t believe in government, the supreme court may agree with the high court.
There is no reason for Jagan to interfere in Sudhakar’s case that too after he suspended him from his duties which is well within his power. Now, asking the supreme court to allow the government and the state police to handle the case of his arrest is clearly a nonsensical leap took by the AP CM.
On the other side, reiterating his commitment to introduce English-medium education in government schools, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday said the government will knock the doors of the Supreme Court with the opinions of parents, 96 percent of whom gave their consent for English-medium education.
First of all, the survey is conducted by the Grama Volunteers and they are the people who are appointed by the government. There is no proof to show that the survey was conducted legitimately without any influence.
On the other side, high court sensibly said that they are not against the introduction of English medium in government schools and advised the government to provide both options to the children and their parents and it is not the right way to restrict their freedom to one medium.
So, Jagan needs to get himself ready to face another shock, this time from the Supreme Court.
