Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is gearing up to go to Delhi on the 26th of this month, to attend the Niti Ayog meeting, held by the central government, which is set to take place on the 27th of this month. The finance ministers or chief ministers of every state will be attending this meeting, and Jagan will be representing AP on the occasion. Now that Jagan is visiting Delhi anyways, sources have revealed that the CMO has already started to seek out appointments for Jagan to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
The Bharatiya Janata Party is said to be pooling up all its support and resources to ensure that it tastes victory in as many states as possible in the upcoming general elections. Within the next one year, nine states are set to go for elections, including the two Telugu states. Given that the Congress has already won the elections in Karnataka, the BJP wants to leave no stone unturned.
In Jagan’s meeting with Modi and Shah – if he gets to meet them – the fate of Jagan’s alliance with the BJP is said to be decided. With Pawan Kalyan reportedly said to be pressurizing BJP to cut ties with the YSRCP, for a better future for AP and its people, it is to be seen what will happen.
