Most of the election surveys are predicting the victory of YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh and adding to it, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is severely going against the Election Commission and Central government, demanding to count 50% VVPAT slips. This reaction from Naidu, is further making the political circles confirm the Jagan’s party victory.
In the last five years, Andhra Pradesh has a whopping Rs. 2000 Crore debt and adding to it APSRTC witnessed Rs. 6500 Crore debt. Having Seeing the economical situation in the state, YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is extremely confident of becoming the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh this time, is planning to take only Rs.1 as salary.
While Jagan has already decided to take the low salary, he also asked all the MLAs of his party to follow the same. The YSRCP circles are discussing the same and is yet to make a decision. The official clarification is expected to be out soon, if at all Jagan forms the government, after the results, which are scheduled to be out on 23rd of this month.
Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is already taking Rs.1 as token salary. Since taking oath on May 20, 2011, she has not taken her salary or allowances she is entitled to. Her entire salary amount has been deposited in Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
