YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy used to attend CBI court on every Friday, as he was ordered to do so, after he was identified as accused in illegal assets case.
But as Jagan emerged as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, he is now planning to skip attending the court, as he is busy reviewing several government programs. The lawyers, on behalf of Jagan, are planning to request the court to give an exception for him from attending the courts on every Friday.
As YSRCP formed the government with a thumping majority, expecting that everything would work on his side, Jagan is also planning to get himself out of the case completely.
But a few of the legal experts have informed Jagan that there is no such option and everyone is equal before the law, including the Chief Minister. There might be chances for any temporary relief, but it cannot be made permanent is what they informed the young CM.
Jagan was identified as accused in illegal assets case, after he walked out of Congress party. While he was considered as A1, Vijay Sai Reddy, the present MP of YSRCP, has been identified as A2. Though the duo argued that the cases against them were false and were politically motivated, a strong investigation team is working on it.
In a span of five years as Chief Minister, it should be seen, how Jagan attempts to come out of the cases that were filed against him, as it would be impossible for him to attempt the same, if at all he loses power in the next elections.
