BJP is taking it as an opportunity to invite leaders of the other parties, when the chiefs of the major political parties leave the country.
Earlier, four Rajya Sabha MPs of TDP joined in BJP, when Chandrababu Naidu left the country on his family vacation. The issue has created severe disturbances among the party members.
Now, BJP is waiting for a similar opportunity, as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to travel to Jerusalem. This is his first tour of Jagan, after his party attained power in the state.
BJP is mainly concentrating on such dissatisfied YSRCP leaders, who are kept on hold for a post by Jagan. A few of the leaders, already gave their nod upon a standard commitment from the Lotus party, the reports say.
BJP has no chances to make any impact in the state, as the national party leaders ignored the promise of granting special category status and is not willing to grant the same even in the future.
On the other side, YSRCP was able to form the government, with a huge mandate in the recent elections. The party is extremely powerful in the state. So if not today, all the disappointed leaders, may get a good placement in the party, some or the other day.
