YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to swear-in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh today.
While the entire AP is filled with the hoardings and placards of Jagan, shockingly even in Telangana, that too in Hyderabad, there were several places, that witnessed the flexies of Jagan, congratulating him upon his massive victory.
With TRS is occupying the major share of the votes in Telangana, Congress and BJP also were identified to have a decent share of votes, after the recent Lok Sabha elections. But the regional parties like TDP and YSRCP were completely out of the state. Telangana Chief Minister KCR has tried his best in making them quit Telangana elections.
While YSRCP was unwilling to take risk from Telangana government and stayed from TS assembly elections, TDP took part in assembly polls and had to face a miserable defeat. After TRS victory in the assembly elections, KCR warned TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu to stay away from Lok Sabha polls and also said that he would give a return gift to Naidu in AP.
Naidu then skipped TS Lok Sabha polls and shockingly, he also had to face an insulting debacle in AP elections. While KCR was touted to extend support to Jagan through the back door, the intention behind it was treated as KCR’s strategy on Jagan to stick to AP and skip Telangana completely.
But having seeing the hoardings, flexies and banners of Jagan in Telangana, and adding to it, the progress of Congress and BJP in the state, it is now turning to be an indication that the YSRCP Chief may eye on Telangana too in the future, expecting that his party would repeat the magic like it did in AP elections, or at least confine to the position of main opposition in the state.
