Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to unveil the statue of his uncle YS Viveka Reddy in Kadapa.
The brutal murder of Viveka, just before the elections has become a sensation then. While the Sakshi media initially reported it as a suicide, they later confirmed it as a murder, giving scope to the opposition parties for the criticism.
The leaders of both the ruling and opposition parties resorted to severe criticism, blaming one another for the murder. Shockingly, the issue was not highlighted much and the media stopped telecasting about it, just 2 days after the murder. While Jagan after forming the government has pledged to find the actual culprits, no such move has been taken from him, till date.
Jagan and Viveka were never in good terms. The latter earlier contested against Vijayamma and had to face the defeat. But, Viveka later joined in YSRCP, but even then, he had not got enough role to play in the party, due to which he was not happy with Jagan.
So, the opposition parties took it as a weapon to blame Jagan in Viveka’s murder. But hinting that there are no such differences between the duo, Jagan is now launching the statue of his uncle, erected near the residence of Viveka in Kadapa.
Viveka’s wife Sowbhagya, daughter Suneetha, along with the entire YS family will be taking part in the inauguration program, which is scheduled to be held on August 8th, on the occasion of Viveka’s birth anniversary.
