It seems, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is trying to redefine the traditional way of ruling. In an attempt to make sure that not even a single rupee gets wasted, the young CM is cutting down the costs wherever there is a possibility.
It is quite common for a Chief Minister to arrange lunch, tiffins and other stuff to the party leaders and other officials who participate in the conferences.
While the tradition was followed well by the ex-CM Chandrababu Naidu, who used to provide the officials, some lavish dinners with several varieties of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, even Telangana Chief Minister KCR does the same. In that case, all the CMs in the past, even in the united AP, continued the tradition with a wide variety of dishes.

But it seems, Jagan is not willing to invest much on food. The young CM recently held a meeting, in which the recently inducted ministers and other senior party leaders took part. All such leaders were served with just sambar rice and curd rice and shockingly even Jagan was served the same.
While the moves of this sort will obviously win the hearts of the public, will it go in the same manner with the party leaders too is a question now.
