The BJP government at the Centre, is shocked over the decision of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, to cancel the tenders of Polavaram Project.
As the Centre is funding the project, the BJP leaders opined that the state government is supposed to consult the Central government, before taking a decision on it.
The BJP government feels that calling the re-tenders will put the financial burden on the Centre. Adding to it, the project will also get delayed even more and escalate the cost. As both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and AP CM Jagan are going to meet on August 6th, the duo are expected to discuss about it.
While Jagan was anticipated to make moves in favor of Modi, for the kind of jolts, the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu faced through the PM, the AP CM is strategically moving the coins and jolting the Centre, in the best way possible.

Even in the past, Jagan was not bothered about the repeated warnings of the Centre and went on to review the Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). It should be seen, whether the BJP tries to go against Jagan or stays back, unwilling to invite unnecessary troubles, as his party got a huge mandate in the recent elections.
