Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy had visited the Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy temple yesterday, and offered Party robes to the Lord, on behalf of the government. Despite the many protests demanding Jagan to sign the declaration, stating his faith, the Chief Minister had not singed it, and yet went on to attend the Garuda Seva.
Earlier this morning, Jagan had laid the foundation stone along with Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa for a 1 Crore pilgrims complex and a wedding hall at Tirumala, which costs around Rs 200 crore. As soon as he heard the news that this father-in-law is unwell, the Chief Minister rushed to the Renigunta Airport and reached the Begumpet airport in Hyderabad.
From Begumpet airport, he had reached Continental hospitals, where Y.S.Bharati’s father Dr E C Gangi Reddy, a renowned pediatrician, is receiving treatment. Jagan is expected to spend some quality time with his father-in-law law before he once again leaves. At 1:20 PM, the Chief Minister is expected to reach the Gannavaram airport.
It is a very well known fact that Gangi Reddy’s wife Sugana Reddy and former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy were classmates. This friendship and close bonding that they shared led to the wedding of Jagan and Bharati.
