Jagan Meets Modi To Discuss On 3-capital Bill

Though the Center had already clarified that it has no jurisdiction to intervene in the process of creating 3-Capitals in Andhra Pradesh, it still needs a legal procedure. While MLA Roja announced yesterday during a media talk in Tirumala that the Bill received approval already, Jagan Mohan Reddy believes he needs to do much more to make sure the Bill is smooth.

Certainly, Jagan Mohan Reddy does not want any last-minute surprises. So he focuses on the main anchor to the whole root, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He met Modi on Wednesday with a list of proposals and explained his plans along with his reasons for it.

It is understood that Chief Minister Jagan had even placed his thoughts on Resolution for abolishing Legislative Council. Afterwards, Jagan invited Modi personally to attend an event in Andhra Pradesh on March 25th, 2020. This is the occasion of Ugadi, Telugu New Year on which Jagan plans to distribute 25 lakhs housing sites for poor families on that day itself.

Jagan Mohan Reddy received a call from the Prime Minister’s Office and had immediately flown down to Modi’s residence. It was a 100-minute meeting in total. He requested Modi to direct the Union Law Minister to pass orders to process both the Bills as soon as possible.
