Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has laid the foundation stone for Kadapa steel plant in Jammalamadugu today.
Speaking to the media after laying the stone, Jagan said that this day will be memorable in his life. He revealed that the YSRCP government is in talks with reputed companies across the world to develop steel plant in a grand manner.
Jagan pledged to complete the project in the next 3 years and provide employment to 27000 people. He said that all the required permissions have been acquired and there would not be any halt to the project.

It is not the first time for Kadapa steel plant launch. Earlier, the project has been launched twice but could not take off due to the scarcity of funds as claimed by the past governments.
Recollecting the same, Jagan said that TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu completely neglected the project after laying the stone. The dynamic CM has self credited himself that he was able to do it in a span of six months after forming the government.
