Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again sworn as the Prime Minister of India, after his thumping victory in the recent elections.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan and Telangana Chief Minister KCR initially planned to fly to Delhi together for attending the Modi swearing-in ceremony. But the duo failed to do so, as the Civil Aviation Department has informed the officials that there should be a prior intimation for the special flight.
As several world leaders are attending Modi swearing-in ceremony and as there is possibility for heavy air traffic, the Civil Aviation department asked the concerned representatives to inform the flight details well in advance so that it can accommodate them arrival slot.
But as both the Telugu states CMs were unaware of it, they had to call off the tour, with no option left.
KCR attended the swearing-in ceremony of Jagan as the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh this morning and congratulated him. Even PM Narendra Modi has tweeted about Jagan congratulating him and assuring cooperation to the state.
“Congratulations to @ysjagan on taking oath as Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister. I assure full cooperation from the Centre. We will work together to take Andhra Pradesh to new heights,” Modi tweeted.
