TDP leader Buchaiah Chowdary said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is afraid to announce Capital cities for the state.
After Jagan announced that the GN Rao Committee report will be discussed in the cabinet meeting, it was understood that he will open up on the Capital cities. But the CM has postponed the announcement for the reasons unknown.
Right after Jagan proposed the three Capitals model on the last day of state assembly sessions, there has been severe criticism from Amaravati farmers. They sat on protest since then and warned to intensify it if Jagan moves on with his three Capitals proposal.
After Jagan postponed the announcement, TDP leader Buchaiah Chowdary said that Jagan was afraid to announce about the Capital cities as Amaravati farmers are waiting to intensify the protest.

But in reality, if not today Jagan should announce about the Capital cities some or the other day. Going with minister Perni Nani’s statements, the state government is expected to come up with a decision on Capital cities after discussing the details in Boston Consulting Group (BCG) report which is yet to arrive. It seems, the government is just waiting to get the situation to normal position and then come up with a decision.
