For the past several months, the TRS and Telangana Chief Minister KCR have been waging an open war against the central government, criticizing Prime Minister Modi very publicly and not going back no matter what. Regardless of how ugly things have been getting, the TRS isn’t backing down. It now looks like Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is going down the same path as well.
Jagan, along with several other members of his party, have been openly criticizing the central government and PM Modi for a few days now, especially with respect to how the Centre is not cooperating with them and how many states in India are suffering due to the Central government’s non-cooperation. It is being said that Jagan and other YSRCP members are doing this to slowly distance themselves from the BJP, as the party is reportedly not giving the party what it wants. Moreover, with Chandrababu Naidu recently having been invited to Delhi for the 75th independence day celebrations, things took a more interesting turn.
On the other hand, it is also being said that the YSRCP could go back on its current stance and once again be in cahoots with the BJP and very loyal to the party, if the BJP starts cooperating with the party. It is now to be seen what will happen here on.
