Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy declared his father YSR’s birthday (July 8th) as the farmers day. Living up to the tag, Jagan has announced to grant Rs. 7 lakh to the family of the farmers, who had committed suicide owing to debt burden in the last five years.
As Jagan specified that the state government is to provide the said amount only to the families of the farmers who committed suicide in the last five years, it is clearly evident that he is planning to erase TDP waves in the state and win the hearts of the farmers by spreading YSRCP all over.
Adding to it, Jagan also announced to enact a law, to ensure that the compensation reaches the right victims. He also ordered the district collector to act instantly, without having to wait for the orders from the Chief Minister, if there is any suicide of the farmer in the state.

He further noted that a total of 1513 farmers had committed suicide in the TDP’s regime . But the then government has paid the compensation to only 391 farmers and neglected the rest of them.
Unlike implementing the new schemes and policies, YSRCP government is strategically moving the coins and winning the hearts of the people, by exactly coming to the rescue of the people, where TDP couldn’t. The acts of this sort would make the people compare the efficiency of TDP and YSRCP and obviously pick the Jagan’s government over the former.
