At a point of time, where there are comments like Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is acting in favor of Christian community, the young CM has come up with a fresh move, which shows his love towards his community.
When Jagan stressed on introducing English medium in the government schools, parties like BJP lashed out at Jagan, saying that he is introducing English as he is a Christian. Even the recent incident, where Christian police stopped Tamilians from entering into Tirumala temple has gone viral across the social media thus worsening the position of the state government.

In this backdrop, Jagan has hiked the financial aid for Christians, who travel to Jerusalem. The financial aid has been increased from Rs. 40000 to Rs. 60000, for the people whose income is under Rs. 3 lakh, whereas for those whose income is above Rs. 3 lakh, the aid has been hiked from Jagan Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000.
The YSRCP government has taken the decision in its recent cabinet meeting and regarding this, it already passed a G.O. It should be seen whether the opposition parties would come forward to comment on a sensitive issue of this sort.
