For quite some time now, it has been known that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minsiter YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to revamp his cabinet. It was initially expected that Jagan would revamp his cabinet by April 2nd, for this year’s Ugadi, which is also when the new districts will come into effect, in Andhra Pradesh.
However, it is now being said that the plan has been changed, and Jagan has decided to revamp the cabinet in time for Sr Rama Navami, which falls on April 10th. The day after Sri Rama Navami is expected to be very special, and the new cabinet is now expected to come into effect from April 11th. While there is no clarity over who would be retained in the cabinet, and wouldn’t be, it is being said that at least 20 members would be replaced in the cabinet.
Only 2 or 3 members are expected to be retained from the current cabinet. The rest of the current cabinet ministers, who would no longer be part of the cabinet, are expected to be given responsibilities of the newly formed districts in the state and would be expected to take full responsibility for those districts, for the 2024 elections.
