TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has been served a notice to vacate his house on the banks of Krishna river. Not only to Naidu, but the similar notice has been issued to a few other residents, who are staying on the banks of the river in view of the flood situation around.
For the past few days, the rising Krishna water is threatening to inundate houses. So the revenue officials asked the people to move to other safer places. Though Naidu and his family members already vacated the house, the notice has been still pasted on its entrance.
It was the same residence on which Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy earlier issued the notices, calling it as an illegal construction. He even threatened to demolish the residence. But Jagan had to step back, as there was a severe backlash from the owners of the houses on the banks of Krishna river.
But finally, the AP CM is still able to make them vacate the houses, however showing a valid reason now. While the TDP activists say that its a conspiracy of the state government, one cannot ignore the threatening flood situation too.
A war of words took place between TDP and YSRCP, when a drone was visible around the residence of Naidu recently. But the Water Resources Minister P. Anil Kumar has clarified that it was deployed by the Water Resources Department to take visuals of the water and monitor the flood situation.
