After a whopping victory in the assembly and Lok Sabha elections of Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is planning to expand the cabinet on Saturday. As 151 MLAs have been elected from YSRCP, Jagan is finding it tough to pick a few of them into his cabinet.
In this regard, the young CM is planning to give equal importance to all the communities and constituencies. Unlike picking the candidates in multiple rounds, Jagan is planning to complete the entire process, in a single round. Aiming to pick 25 ministers into his cabinet, the oath taking ceremony of all the ministers is going to be on Saturday itself.
Going with the talk of the YSRCP circles, Jagan is going to induct a maximum number of ministers from Reddy community. About 8 ministers are going to be from his community and 6 ministers would be from BCs. Kapu, Kamma and SCs are going to get 2 each and STs, Brahmana, Kshatriyam Vaishya and Muslims are going to get one seat each in Jagan’s cabinet.
As Jagan is planning to create new districts, keeping in mind the parliamentary constituencies, the state government is planning to complete the entire cabinet expansion process soon.
Reportedly, the following candidates are going to get berth in Jagan’s cabinet.
