96′ starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha was a magical tale of two lovers reuniting and reminiscing their lovable past. How their emotional journey ended is the crux of the story. 96 was such a beautiful hit in Tamil.
Everybody loved the movie there though it is slow and doesn’t have many entertaining moments. It is the emotional connect that worked magical for the film.
Looks like the same is working for 96 Telugu remake Jaanu as well. Dil Raju scored half a hit when he has chosen natural actors Sharwanand and Samantha for the lead roles. They have weaven magic around them.
Jaanu trailer released a while ago and it is heart touching, emotional. Music of the film is the main plus. Music director Govind Vasantha has used the original tracks for this movie too which have worked beautifully.
Childhood episodes are also key to the movie and going by the trailer they have done the fine job in this aspect too. Cinematography is top notch. Overall Jaanu trailer keeps good expectations on the film.
Jaanu is scheduled for release on February 7th. C Prem Kumar has directed the movie.
