It looks like the season of Paada Yatra has begun in Telangana, with almost every opposition party getting ready for the same. It is already known that BJP Telangana Chief Bandi Sanjay is planning for a Paada Yatra in the state, and now, the newly appointed Chief of TPCC, Revanth Reddy, is also said to be planning a Paada Yatra in the state.
Revanth Reddy had planned a Paada Yatra right when he joined the party, but couldn’t do it due to the internal politics in the party, which forced him to stay silent. Revanth even recently partook in a mini-Paada Yatra, which was reported to the high command, whose silence over the issue turned out to be a plus point and a sort of green signal to Revanth. In fact, the high command of Congress is said to have made Revanth the Chief of TPCC, hoping and believing him to be able to bring back glory days to the Congress. This could also mean that they would give him the permission to do whatever he wants to, in order to take the party to the next level.
On the other hand, Bandi Sanjay is expected to begin his Paada Yatra towards the end of July. With the ruling party not in the position to hold Paada Yatras, it is now up to the opposition parties to make the most out of it. With the general elections expected to take place in September 2023, there are just two years left for all the political parties of the state to make a mark on the people. Considering the craze Paada Yatras have got in the Telugu states, it’s no wonder everyone wants to do them.
