Allari Naresh has decided to do content driven films after the success of Naandhi. His upcoming film Itlu Maredimilli Prajaneekam appears to be an earnest thriller drama with current politic climate as the backdrop.
The trailer of the film has been unveiled and it shows Naresh as a government officer who enlightens the remote tribes at Maredumilli about the gravity of their votes. He then orchestrates them to stage a protest to get their rights through votes. What follows is intense drama.
This appears to be an honest thriller drama with a contemporary political set up. The background score and the visuals in the trailer look very good.
The key thing, going by the trailer is the honest narrative. If the votes for tribe concept works out and the screenplay is pacy enough, there’s a good scope for the film, given the novel approach. Will it be able to achieve the potential? We’ll know on 25th November when the film hits the silver screens.
